# Abuelita's Knitting & Needlepoint

> A knitting and needlepoint shop in South Pasadena, California, open since 2006. Hand-picked yarn, hand-painted needlepoint canvases, notions, and classes for every level — from a first cast-on to finishing a canvas.

The shop is in the Mission West District. One side is given to knitting, the other to needlepoint. Classes run six days a week and stay small; private lessons and party bookings are arranged by phone or email.

- Class prices: $25 for one hour, $35 for two hours, $45 an hour for a private lesson, $90 for five kids' sessions
- Party bookings start at $400 for up to eight guests
- Reservations require 48 hours' notice; payment is due 24 hours before a session
- Project Mother Bear, which the shop knitted bears for, closed at the end of 2025
